Monday, July 26, 2021 - 2001/2002 Bordeaux at Hawksmoor (Hawksmoor, Guildhall, London): Initially more aromatic than the 01 (served alongside). Blackcurrant fruit, cedar, touch of mineral. Medium bodied, linear, a touch firm but with lots of lovely dark fruit, cedar notes, vibrant acidity, good length finish. Excellent

The only trouble is, because taste is so subjective and inherently impacted by multiple quantifiable and non-quantifiable variables, we can, effectively, disagree with our own taste on an almost daily basis...so we can really never trust anyone's opinions, especially our own!
