There's like a mild apple flavor to it with a hint of stoniness like I get sometimes in Loire whites. I've had only a handful of arneis wines but my hunch is this was better a year to 18 months ago. This was nothing like the 2004 Il Fachetto Arneis I had in December. That wine rocked.
