Monday, March 6, 2017 - Coiled and dense. Color is a deep, full garnet. Nose is savory with a little yeast/marmite overtones which largely blow off. Lots of acid and bright cherries along with leather on the palate. Very fine tannins. This thing is packed with material waiting to unfold. Excellent now but only the merest hint of what this wine will be in the future. Drink or hold, but if you drink, remember you'll enjoy yourself now but kick yourself in the future.
