Sunday, September 3, 2017 - When I removed the foil, the cork was wet on one side. I was disappointed by this bottle after having enjoyed many other vintages of Tondonia. Brownish brick color and aromas of dried red and black fruits. Very dusty on the palate, plenty of earth, tobacco, some dill, and deep stewed and dried fruits. Much older vintages have shown more freshness, so I'm hopeful that the other bottle in my cellar is more typical, that the wet cork was an indication that oxidation was the culprit.
