Thursday, December 8, 2016 - Another encounter with this legendary producer with excellent QPR. Dark crimson red. Elegant nose with cherries, plums, toffees, raspberry/licorice candy, hints of oak and vanilla but far from the usual stuff from Rioja. Slim and elegant mouthfeel, beautiful silky texture, smooth tannins. Lively fruit, still a youngster, no dusty or tired feeling. Develops in the glas, with new layers and aromas. What a masterpiece this is in the price range. Lovely. Drink now our keep in cellar for many years to come. 92p
