91 Points

Sunday, January 2, 2022 - Despite being open for 24hrs, this still came across as rather tight. Tangy, juicy red fruits are still tightly woven. The secondary characteristics are dominated by pipe tobacco, leather, and dill - these are showing nicely. Supremely supple texture and lovely tannins, but these need many more years. Bottle varitation of course means some may be in a better place (as was my last bottle 18 months ago!) than others.

1/20/2022 1:11:00 PM - Great points. From my experience the LdH Reservas don’t really show their best until about 20 years from the vintage. I’m sitting on a case or so of these, and I’m probably going to hold off at least another year from trying another one.
