Friday, April 22, 2022 - This was from a by the glass pour. Right away, this is unmistakably LdH as tones of sour red fruits, raspberries, cranberries, dill, vanilla beans, tobbacco, leather, tomato leaf, oak, and dried herbs. The nose is beautifully complex and firing on all cylinders. The Medium/full bodied feel is robust and a bit angular with tart, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This feels like its right in its window. There is a long life ahead of it, but it is a real joy to drink right now.
