Friday, March 29, 2024 - Disappointing given its price and reputation. Deep cherry red color edge to edge. Not much on the nose even on the second day. Plush on the palate but without a lot of definition. Dark chocolate, blueberry, black cherry, tobacco. Beautifull resolved tannins, nice acidity, good balance. Finishes moderately long with soft cherry notes. Became almost muddled with even a little air. Not a bad wine, but not great by any means. No idea how much longer this will drink without falling apart. I wouldn't wait.
