Friday, September 26, 2014 - Medium-pale golden color. Jumps out of the glass with honey, minerality (petroleum is starting to develop slightly), spices, ripe pineapple and apple, citrus, wet stone. There is an almost creamy texture to it. It's medium+ bodied and pretty dense, with medium+ acidity and medium+ sweetness. Good length. A very beautiful Spätlese that is just starting to develop secondary nuances and will still have quite a few years ahead.
