It was always a very ripe Spatlese (hence the *), and still shows lots of ripe peach and tropical fruit. It is finally starting to slim down enough to show a little structure, but even more cellar time is needed to get to any real definition. With spicy Indian food it's a fun drink now. Real aged complexity is still 5-7 years (or more) off.
