Thursday, June 30, 2016 - Thursday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Prieure-Roch, Mugneret-Gibourg and David Duband (Cote d'Or (Mostly)): Tasted at the domaine. Bright red cherry aromas, then more backward, firm flavors. Red cherry throughout with subtle spice and moderate weight and an early hint of earth starting to emerge. Like most of the lineup this emphasizes elegance and finesse over power. Needs a few years in the cellar.
