Friday, May 31, 2019 - Suave, smooth with fine grained tannins. Drinks like a wine that has cellared 5-7 years... not sure how I feel about these early approachable wines... isn’t the fun to buy, cellar and discover later...? Anyhow, I digress. Buy this under $40– you will be glad to have a few. Does it hold to 2030.....? I lack firm conviction that it will.

6/1/2019 3:10:00 AM - Thanks for the helpful note. The Wine Society opening offer indicated a drinking window to 2035, and they are generally quite cautious.
I'll phase mine over a few years, with a close eye on my doctor's evaluation of my health!

9/22/2019 6:28:00 PM - Drank a bottle of '06 Friday night with dinner. Was in a great spot after an hour of decanting and showed beautifully. I put the cork in the bottle and the following afternoon drank the remaining half of the bottle. It remained at least as good, maybe a shade softer and more open. I suspect the '06 will drink well for another 5-7 years. 2006 is a somewhat underrated vintage in my opinion, but 2015 is supposed to be superior. So, give this story whatever weight it is due (perhaps none) in prognosticating the life of the 2015.

9/22/2019 9:02:00 PM - Howdy, actually every detail helps in planning out. Maybe similar to the market, "past performance is no guarantee of future results", but if you are familiar the past has so much to do with the future along with other factors. Appreciate the follow up, confidence builder you are in this wine. Happy Sunday Night!
