Tuesday, April 28, 2020 - After reading Motz’s tip, I decided to try another 375. Drank a few ounces and not memorable on night 1. 88
Night 2: it has unfurled, with more focused black fruit, better delineated chalky minerals, and also a broader, more tannic frame. The cigar box and whisper of green that I love in Cantemerle. Lots of upside in a decade. 90-91
Night 3: it’s at its most expressive, with the black fruit edged by red cherry and flowers notes, cedar and more harmonious tannins. Be patient with this. 92+
