Monday, February 21, 2022 - Poured direct to glass from a half-bottle, expecting some accelerated aging due to the small bottle size. This did not pan out.

Deep red-purple with scent of vanilla. Just a tinge of brick at the edges - still quite youthful. This was initially packed with dried blueberries, blackberry, and some oak/vanilla. Everything was still well/balanced with acidity. Clean finish with absolutely nothing off-putting. On day 2, the fruit and vanilla moderated bringing out some cedar and soft tannins. Certainly enjoyable now but still in its youth.
