Monday, December 26, 2016 - Slow ox'ed for 3-4 hours. Sweet fruit on the nose With cassis and cherry with some oak-derived cedar notes and some tertiary forest floor. Medium bodied on the palate, which is a little more savoury than the nose suggests. Despite not being a large scaled wine, There is great intensity and presence for the vintage. Nothing forced at all and the balance is excellent. Finish has dusty tannins. Has entered its drinking window but will probably continue to improve over the next 5 years.
