Wednesday, March 20, 2019 - Tasted along side the '06. This was a more nuanced and ready PLL vs. the 06. A lighter vintage for sure, but no shortage of classic PLL character with ample bell pepper and cigar complementing the red fruits. Smooth, with well integrated tannins. In a nice zone and not going to get any better, but should hold.
