Saturday, June 30, 2018 - Great Syrah, from the homeland. Rich, flavorful, delicious. Very balanced, big fruit with appropriate acidity and solid but resolved tannins. Flavors iinger long time ... black tongue in the end.

A Kermit Lynch offering, I always find his stuff to be worth a try. Possibly a slight bit of fizzy on opening indicating "natural" or maybe low sulfites?

This bottle is underrated so far, I think. It is brilliant in how perfectly it works and how "unremarkable" (nothing out of place) it is. Easy drinking yet complex and rewarding Syrah, not the challenge of a Cotes Rotie.
