Saturday, July 15, 2017 - Earthy funk on the nose with herbs like thyme and marjoram, and a hint of flowers. On the palate high acidity with rowan-, lingon-, and cranberries, blood orange and grape, followed by red cherries. Bone dry with light (but substantial) drying tannins, a sandy minerality and citrus rind bitterness. The wine started off a bit tart but developed nicely with time and air. Complex and unique wine from the top producer of Crete.
