Sunday, July 7, 2013 - Opened bottle due to slight leakage (however still bottom neck fill). Completely soaked cork came out in one piece. Needs 30 min in decanter and then it's a stunning wine. Medium garnet. Nose of forest floor and dark berries. Fantastic balance on the palate (12% alcohol...), floral notes and a bouquet of sweet fruit, fine tannins, medium plus finish. Seems at peak now and the best mature Bordeaux I have had. Worked well with steak at home and equally well on its own.
