Monday, December 27, 2021 - Quite musty nose at first, but that note disappeared almost completely with air. The nose is mature with red fruit, mushrooms, cedar, and forest floor notes. Good acidity with fully integrated tannins and flavors of red fruit and dark cherries on the palate. Nice finish. Great, fully mature Bordeaux that tastes quite a bit older than some of the other 86s I’ve had (especially compared to Mouton from a few days ago).
