Wednesday, January 3, 2024 - Muted to non-existent nose. Purple color. Mellow, rounded, mature wine with a deep, packed flavor profile. Length of taste is not extraordinary, but the finish during the swallow brings forth the deep loamy earth flavor that is unmistakably Bordeaux.
75% Merlot. 15% Cabernet Franc. 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
This is not a rock-em, sock-em, in your face wine, but a more subdued taste experience that hides the 15% alcohol very well.
2nd Day Tasting: the power of the beast becomes evident. A huge wine, not for the faint of heart. A sipper.
