Sunday, February 25, 2024 - Pleasant, quite intense smell of dark fruit and balanced oak. On the palate a dense, concentrated wine with soft tannins. Dark fruit with some tertiary flavors. Enormous length. Needs no aeration or maybe a little (30 minutes) and doesn't need decanting since there's no sediment. Drink now or next year. Food pairing: roast chicken with baked potatoes and haricots verts with bacon. Worked very well.
