Saturday, February 24, 2024 - B2+L1.5+I2+C2=7.5/8. 94. Deep garnet. Medium-Pronounced aroma. Good structure. Notes of ripe red fruits (raspberry, ripe strawberry) and black fruits (blackberry). Violet flower. Iodine. Rosemary. Bread dough. Buttery, roasted wood, chocolate. Caramel, walnut, leather. Geranium. Bell pepper, liquorice. Presence of oak (cloves, cinnamon, chocolate, roasted wood). Some tertiary notes (caramel, mushroom and tobacco). Full-boded, harmonious, silky, opulent. Decanted for 3 hours. Tannins are fine and smooth. Still developing. Very good wine. Paired very well with chicken & mushroom wrap.
