Saturday, April 27, 2019 - Seymour Wine Club Meeting 4/27/19 (Home of Lew Stanio): Tasted blind. Decanted for 2 hours prior to serving. Aromas of raspberry, cherry, earth and menthol. Flavors of raspberry, earth, tobacco and iron. Ends with a 30 second finish with cherry and tobacco notes. This was drinking better than the last time I had it but still not a blockbuster in my opinion. May be drinking at peak now but a long, long life ahead of this. I gave this 93 points and it was the wine of the night.
