Community Tasting Note

Monday, April 17, 2017 - I think this is one of the best greek wines, one of the best Mavrotragano, and surely one of the very good international wines. The color is a beautiful dark red with long legs on the glass. The taste opens up with time and combines sweet fruity with some acid/salty notes. Amazing. Similarly the taste fills your mouth with rasperry and cherry notes, a hint of the salty mediterranean air and light oak taste. The finish is smooth and medium to long with beautiful fine tannins. Truely one of the very good red wines of the world and a insider tip with great value.
