Friday, September 15, 2017 - Pale gray gold, our first rieslaner The nose is raw honey, intense white flowers, fresh olive oil. The palate is soft, spatlese sweetness as labeled, white stone and pommes, with just enough acidity. The finish is long and mirrors the palate. This would be a terrific wine with fresh fruit dessert, but was also a pleasure with parchment roast trout.
