Monday, June 10, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Expressive nose displaying ripe red fruit with a hint of black, cherry pie, raspberry concentrate, a hint of blackberry and black cherry, rose, sweet spices, tree bark and earth. Excellent concentration, packed ripe red fruit, dense and rich yet silky, bright acidity and medium mineral, and a long sweet red fruit driven finish. This doesn’t have the layering and finesse of the other two. Nevertheless, drinking beautifully in a very youthful way.
