Saturday, May 18, 2019 - Lovely wine! In the glass it's a lovely transparent ruby. Almost a touch cloudy. Could almost be confused with Burgundy, except the fruit is just a tad large scaled and fruit forward. The nose blasts cranberry jelly, strawberry, raspberry, forest undergrowth, incense, blood orange and cardamom. Clearly showing a touch of whole cluster. The palate has excellent blood orange tinged acid, with medium minus tannin and a medium plus finish. Great wine. Should age very nicely. Wish I had more.
