Sunday, July 16, 2023 - This wasn’t giving very much. Quite backwards and surprisingly muted on the nose with some lemon, peach, and mineral notes coming through. Good acidity with more lemon notes and minerals on the palate but overall quite linear and missing some complexity at this stage. Good finish. Hopefully this is just closed right now. The flavors are present, just not as pronounced as they could be. 91+

7/16/2023 11:45:00 PM - Thanks for your note! I observed and tasted this wine over the previous 7 years and it was always muted and not giving much. Hope, this is one for the 10+ age, but aren‘t really satisfied with its performance yet…the Riesling Loibenberg is the better choice (for me)
