Tannins were soft and well integrated but I didn’t get much of the classic Pauillac notes of pencil shavings, forest floor, leather etc mentioned in other reviews. It wasn’t that the tannins were overbearing. It was all just quite muted. Not in an “off bottle” sense. Just didn’t do it for me. Disappointing.
