Friday, March 10, 2017 - Drank along side about 9-10 Bordeaux with some age on them. I would have been a very happy person 'parking' on this one all evening as it kept evolving. It was my WOTN (fwiw). Long finish. I agree with others tasters' notes here (aka CT) that the wine deserves some nice decanting (2-3 hours or so). But that time point, it does evolve and shows even greater and better. Along side the '86 Margaux it was a winner, but not by a larger margin. Over the course of the evening, the 'gap' did expand in favor of the Mouton. I'd get back to my notes for more details. A great treat to try this one.
