Tuesday, December 25, 2018 - A deep colour, showing little age; quite intense blackcurrant fruit, with a fairly thick texture; elegant, full, nicely mature but not old, although the finish is perhaps starting to fade a bit. Looking at earlier notes, I see that I was giving this 97 or 98 six or seven years ago, so perhaps it has started to decline (not surprising after 32 years). Even so, it is still a very fine wine.
