Sunday, October 9, 2022 - Pinot Noir from the Loire Valley, Sancerre to be exact.

A wine with some bottle age and it surprised me with its ripe fresh red fruit of cherry raspberry and cranberry. Also had a hint of orange zest.

The acid was low with a tiny bit of chalk tannins. Lovely pinot that can rival Burgundy and you can get for a great price.
