Sunday, October 26, 2008 - This is a DENSE wine! Inviting nose of molasses, walnut and raisin. Pretty strong heat on the nose, which is trying to pull my focus. The raisin flavor definitely carries through on the palate. There's tobacco and dates on the finish, which offer a nice change from the raisin parade. Overall, a quite delicious wine, but I find myself wishing for even more dimension. Salud!
