Sunday, June 13, 2021 - Viscous nose and palette. Madeira/Sherry figs, sunburnt oranges and prunes. Canola/corn oil smell (perhaps an oxidized version) and on the tongue and palette. Very interesting. Color dark brown. Kinda cloying and not much acidity to balance the sugar and viscosity. Very different and that’s what I’m looking for in wines. Would be a good accompaniment on top of ice cream. Thick stuff almost like 100 or 200 year Balsamic vinegar.
