Sunday, February 4, 2018 - Tale of 2 Rieslings; 2/4/2018-2/6/2018 (Home): Should you be interested, I’ve uploaded info for this vintage which you can peruse at your leisure. 😉

N: Closed; some petrol, but quickly blows off to notes of slate

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt (threshold R.S. most certainly) BEAUTIFULLY counterbalanced by tart, ALMOST puckerish acidity which pretty much drives the bus through the LONG, TANGY/swt finish with traces of minerality. My VG/VG+ with potential for EXC with further cellaring. Went WELL with Roasted Cornish Game Hens with a slightly sweet fruit/nut stuffing. 830 cases produced.
