Sunday, August 14, 2016 - Healthy ruby appearance. Complex bouquet continually evolves in the glass. Earthy, black raspberry, cherry, and forest floor aromas over notes of hard candy, walnut shell, and a hint of granite minerality. Long, structured, and penetrating, with tons of energy and drive. Shows ideal weight, succulent black fruit flavors, cassis sweetness, and a beautiful herbal character. Continued to improve throughout the night. Elegant, vinous, and at its supreme peak.
