Saturday, February 3, 2024 - Decanted for about an hour before trying. Beautiful dark colour. Intense perfume from the bouquet with lots of red fruit and that Chianti character that is difficult to describe. A medium bodied wine with lots of red fruit, great depth of flavour, still very youthful and incredible balance. The fruit, freshness, tannin and acidity were so well balanced that the wine has this beautiful smooth quality. I am not a great judge of longevity but this one can definitely go for a while.
