Saturday, October 14, 2017 - First of the blind red wines this evening. Medium to deep garnet red with some bricking on the edges. Aged nose with some tomato leaves, bark spices, cinnamon and cedar. Touch of dark berries. Medium and rounded tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Sweet spices on the palate with plums, forest floor, truffles, and a touch of bitter dark cocoa in the medium plus finish. Drink till 2020.
