Sunday, June 9, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Slightly coiled energetic nose displaying ripe yellow citrus fruit, lemon curd, granny smith, a hint of pineapple, honey, honeysuckle, a hint of spearmint, rainwater, beeswax and limestone. Excellent concentration, slightly coiled concentrated yellow fruit, dense yet pure and energetic, bright acidity, strong mineral and a long slightly coiled yellow citrus fruit driven mineral finish. This shows better focus than the December, 2018 bottle as the tropical fruit expression has subsided, i.e. more citrusy.
