Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Beautifully detailed nose displaying perfectly ripe red fruit, raspberry, cherry compote, sweet spices, rose, sap and limestone. Excellent concentration, very finely layered bright red fruit, silky, polished and beautifully detailed, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a seamless long bright red fruit driven finish. Not as opulent and concentrated as the Clos Vougeot from two nights ago, also more red fruit. Drinking beautifully.
