I had this wine at the vineyard a few years back and thought it was the best Realm I had ever tasted and rated it 100 points. It was perfectly balanced with tremendous fruit and minerality that is unique to the Dr. Crane Vineyard Unfortunately, this time around, it’s just not ready to drink. All the components are there...it just needs 3-5 years to shed the predominant wood taste and sharp,tart tannins to let the fruit re-emerge.
