flawed

Saturday, May 20, 2023 - Late night at home with neighbourhood friends. Very mouldy top and dirty soaked cork that came out intact with Durand. Ullage pretty good. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance not clear, lots of fine sediments, medium intensity, still ruby colour with garnet rim. Thin legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of VA nail polish dominant, whiffs of oxidation that blow off, earth and mushrooms. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), integrated high tannins still with some sense of good structure, full body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of dried red plums, savoury earth, vegetal mushrooms, Port. Medium+ finsih.
Possibly flawed and over the hill.
