Sunday, February 14, 2021 - I am a fan of this producer, so I am not surprised that this village wine is performing o well. The nose and palate clearly announce that it is a Chassagne with that unique spicy quality. This could not come from Puligny or Meursault fruit. Ripe pear on the nose. White peach, pear, and spicy baked apples on the palate. A kiss of oak and some heat (which works well). Village white Burgundy cannot be better. This punches above its weight.
