Thursday, June 1, 2023 - Like most Aubert Chards, it needs a bit of time, and some warmth. Cold is OK, cellar better, and room temp is where it starts to shine. Lemon zest and shiny of jasmine on the nose. Full bodied and a full mouthfeel, but may fade from here drinking in magnum mode, it is probably near its peak. Some hints of apricot and the start of a bit of vanilla or caramel as it is approaching 10 years. Good wine, but I prefer the CIX and Coast vines.
