Tuesday, July 12, 2016 - Nose: strong lemon and cream, straw. Lightly toasted oak and white pepper. Grapefruit. A bit nervous. Palate: medium bodied with high acidity and moderate creaminess and sweetness.Big lemon and tart lime, there's big flint and crushed limestone. Some banana peel, and a bit of smoke along with toasted oak, white pepper, cedar and raw almond. Finish: the acidity remains high and the lemon and banana peel persist. Overall a highly structured wine, but the high acidity is a bit out of balance. It's good, but not as interesting as other white Jura that I've had. This has another solid 3-5 years of good living.
