Tuesday, October 18, 2022 - Highly recommend and at this point of maturation a very good QPR wine. Drank as part of the starter wines at our October wine club tasting. Clear straw yellow, smooth, well integrated, good mouth feel, medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and softening with beautiful balance and a lovely medium length aftertaste. Nose bright and floral with lilac, peach and a more sweet honeyed note on the finish. Flavor profile a bit heavier and more serious then the nose would suggest with a hint of caramel, hazelnut and ripe pear and peach. A classic and now well aged CDP blanc. Drink or hold but leaning heavily on the drink - no further upside expected to additional cellaring but this does have a few more years to go with proper cellaring.
