Monday, July 18, 2016 - Gave this a 10 hour decant and it was sublime when we got to it. The nose smells of chestnut, balsamic, tar, baked earth and blood plum. It is so deep, rich and savoury in the mouth. The fruits are black and have a creamy feel to them. Tannins are powerful and chewy and there's a streak of minerally acidity. It looks decades younger and is a brilliant wine.
