Lemon cream, hint of sweeter butterscotch, peaches, good salinity. Flinty minerality, excellent salinity. Really nice wine. Durell is an offering from Kistler that really never disappoints. It is rather consistent from year to year. But, I do feel that this one, with the kind of slow to warm character that it had, is probably a wine that is starting to develop some tertiary characteristics. Giving a 3-5 year advance on this wine. If you have these, time to start drinking on them.
