Wednesday, August 17, 2005 - good casis and vanilla on the nose. palate is fleshy and full, with quick black fruits and moccha, but quickly turns medicinal and acidic. almost road tar-ish. pretty darn dry and almost difficult to taste. not sure if this is standard or not. every other vintage from 90 on which ive had were out of control, esp the 99. thoughts? tasted twice identical notes.
